The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) has once again chosen HS&E Compliance Resources to speak at its annual Operations Seminar, to be held Aug. 18-20, 2010 in Austin, TX.

“We are very pleased that the NACD has chosen our company to speak at the OPSEM in Texas,” said Tim Zatorski, HS&E president. “Our relationship with the NACD and its member companies started with a presentation on Risk Management at the St. Louis OPSEM fifteen years ago. This is the third time that we will address the membership and the topic is an excellent one as we focus on regulatory compliance systems and how the NACD Responsible Distribution Process is a very effective compliance tool when properly managed,” Zatorski said.

“We are very proud of our long-term relationship with the NACD and many of our clients who are also NACD members,” he continued. “We are also proud that the principals of our company each possess over twenty-five years of industrial compliance experience and each was a code coordinator who developed and implemented Responsible Distribution Programs (RDP) for the companies that they worked for.”

“HS&E continues its history of providing the chemical manufacturing and distribution sectors with effective compliance solutions,” stated Jim Zatorski, vice president of HS&E. “This industrial sector represents a core business for our company, for which we provide both onsite and offsite compliance and training assistance to help support companies’ compliance needs.”

“We are very grateful to the NACD for allowing our firm to continue to participate in its functions,” Jim Zatorski continued. He added that his company has hands-on experience with the implementation of both Responsible Distribution and Responsible Care.

When first initiated, the basis for both of these programs was on Risk Management, Jim Zatorski said. “It is our company’s belief that this must continue to be the focus of the RDP. The NACD member companies operate in a very unforgiving industry and understand that it is a privilege to operate a business in a community. Tools like the RDP must accept nothing less than to strive for zero accidents, transportation incidents and releases to the environment and our surrounding communities.”

Zatorski added that these are very measurable and attainable goals that must be at the core of every compliance program. “We look forward to once again have the privilege to address the OPSEM attendees,” he said.
